Out now: EYE

Eye's debut, Center of the Sun, is out now on Kemado Records! The Columbus band, featuring ex-members of Teeth of the Hydra and Deadsea, travels to Brooklyn for its official record release show, April 7 at Grand Victory.

8/10. "The next best thing to a newly unearthed album from Meddle-era Pink Floyd, complete with cosmic song suites."

"Center mixes ambient, drony melodies with firm, hypnotic drumming and bursts of heavy, old-school riffage... A fleshy, authentic experience."

"Stubbornly rooted in 1970, Center of the Sun is rife with Black Sabbath and Hawkwind influences... If you like your heavy stuff old, old old school, this is a must."
-MSN Headbang

"With members of Deadsea and Teeth of the Hydra amongst their ranks, you'd think that Columbus, Ohio quartet Eye would be on a quest for riff-supremacy. In fact, Eye is more concerned with the spacey moments of Pink Floyd, Yes, King Crimson and heavy psychedelia..."

"While Eye is very heavily influenced by 1960s-era Pink Floyd and King Crimson, their sound is also firmly rooted in the early 1970s proto-metal of Black Sabbath... You can also hear some Uriah Heep and Hawkwind if you listen closely. And listen closely you must. Center of the Sun is an album that should be listened to late at night, with headphones on and the lights off."

"A psychedelic quest to melt ears and minds.."
-The Aquarian

"Melding Mellotron-era King Crimson with space-bound Pink Floyd cosmic exploration and beefing up warm-live-sounding tones with the occasional freakout or weighted jam..."
-The Obelisk

"Anyone into classic psych sounds interpreted through doomed as fuck atmosphere and entrancing riffage should eat this one up for breakfast."
