NERVOUS + Noisey

Oakland punkers Nervous celebrate the release of their self-titled debut album on Twelve Gauge Records today by teaming up with Noisey to premiere a brand new video for the album's opening track, "Good Morning".

Featuring a smoking Jesus stuffed with money, a pink "Jackson Pollock" wound, and a wall of amps with a mind of its own, the video was directed by Evan Henkel (Loma Prieta, No Sir).

The full album - recorded by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Comadre) and mastered by Alan Douches (Converge, Today Is The Day) - is now streaming in its entirety via American Aftermath.

High Times Magazine calls Nervous's debut "10 trax of wrathful, angular punk in the mold of early-90s noizemongers Jesus Lizard, the almighty Nirvana, etc."

Terrorizer Magazine calls it "paranoid punk rock, not unlike The Jesus Lizard covering 'My War' era Black Flag."
