Washington D.C. metal upstarts Gloom have revealed another new song off their self-titled debut EP, Gloom, out June 24th. The track, "Entity," is now streaming exclusively via Gun Shy Assassin.

Of Gloom, MetalSucks has stated, "the band's genre-bending brand of towering, savage blackened death groove is so overwhelming, so powerful that it's guaranteed to do things to your head: get stuck in it and completely fucking obliterate it." MetalSucks premiered Gloom's song, "Unrequited," last month.

While many bands dazzle with their technicality, Gloom transcend the herd by using their shred in the service of concise, memorable songs. On the upcoming Gloom EP, they one-up the try-hards and slay eardrums with short, sweet, modern metal anthems, equally quoting Suffocation, Gorgoroth, and Crowbar.

Gloom's debut EP was produced by Marshall Wieczorek, drummer of Victory Records headbangers Wretched. The cover art is by Steven Mercado (The Dillinger Escape Plan).
