JAR'D LOOSE + Revolver

Revolver Magazine has debuted Jar'd Loose's "Turning 13," the almost-title track off the co-ed Chicago band's second album, Turns 13.

Swinging, snarling, haunting, "Turning 13" showcases the duality that makes Jar'd Loose one of the coolest bands out right now, straddling the line between epic alternative rock and unhinged weirdness.

The A.V. Club recently premiered another new track off Turns 13, along with these words: "Turns 13 is a grinding, twisted, dynamic batch of noise-rock anti-anthems full of acidic riffs and The Jesus Lizard-esque bile."

Turns 13 was produced by Pete Grossman (Harm's Way, Weekend Nachos) and mastered by Today Is The Day frontman Steve Austin (Converge, Unsane). The albums is out May 27th on The Path Less Traveled Records (CD and digital) and Threshold of Pain Records (vinyl).

Jar'd Loose hits the road this month with fellow Chicagoans The Swan King (member of Pelican).
