JAR'D LOOSE + Terrorizer

Terrorizer Magazine presents the premiere of Jar'd Loose's "Jackson the Pollock," a song off the Chicago band's second album, Turns 13.

Terrorizer reports, "Turns 13... finds this unhinged quartet developing their brash, noisy sound even further... and producing sarcastic, vitriol-drenched noise rock that endless Jesus Lizard comparisons just don't do justice to."

Well known by now for its driving, swaggering dirt-rock, cryptic lyrics, and shockingly melodic hooks, Jar'd Loose outdoes its AmRep-worshipping peers by embracing above-ground influences. Frontman Eddie Gobbo has cited "Aerosmith and Alice Cooper"; a recent review on Last Rites likens his vocals to "Axl Rose having an aneurysm."

Out next Tuesday, May 27th, on The Path Less Traveled Records (CD and digital) and Threshold of Pain Records (vinyl), Turns 13 was produced by Pete Grossman (Harm's Way, Weekend Nachos) and mastered by Today Is The Day's Steve Austin (Converge, Unsane).

Jar'd Loose hits the road next week for a short US tour with The Swan King (member of Pelican, ex-Asschapel).
