Out now: VICES

Vices' debut LP, New Breed, is out today on Melotov Records and MetalInjection is now hosting a stream of the entire album.

MetalInjection hails the young Jacksonville, Florida band's debut full-length as "a fusion of hardcore punk and swampy blues rock... New Breed is like a shot of good whiskey followed immediately by a punch in the face. The groovy riffs are warm, thick, and rich, but the vocals get up in your face looking for a fight."

New Breed was produced by Arthur Rizk (Power Trip).

Vices has toured the nation repeatedly alongside other young punkers like Old Wounds and Full of Hell. Stay tuned for news of fall touring. In the meantime, Floridians can catch the following shows:

Aug 8 - Daytona, FL @ The Lion's Den
Aug 9 - Tampa, FL @ Epic Problem
Aug 10 - Miami, FL @ Space Mountain

"What Fucked Up might sound like if the band had been born and bred in the Deep South instead of chilly Canada... a blinding mix of anthemic punk rage and mosquito-stung Southern rock swagger."
–The A.V. Club

"The kind of hardcore that fans of Paint It Black or Burning Love should be familiar with... but it eventually turns into a swamp rock soloing machine."
–BrooklynVegan

"Hardcore with a blues rock edge... will make you want to go smash some liquor bottles down by the creek."
–Decibel

"A masterful pairing of hardcore and Southern-fried debauchery."
–American Aftermath

"Their breakdowns owe more to Black Sabbath than Biohazard... Call it punk n' roll if you like."
–Verbicide
