VICES + BrooklynVegan

As Melotov Records readies the July 22nd release of Vices' debut full-length, New Breed, BrooklynVegan streams "That's Life," a track off the upcoming album, stating "new single 'That's Life' starts out as the kind of hardcore that fans of Paint It Black or Burning Love should be familiar with, but it eventually turns into a swamp rock soloing machine."

The young Jacksonville, Florida band is notorious for jamming heavy, Southern-fried blues over furious hardcore punk songs – a recent review from The A.V. Club compared it to "what Fucked Up might sound like of the band had been born and bred in the Deep South instead of chilly Canada... a blinding mix of anthemic punk rage and mosquito-stung Southern rock swagger." Decibel Magazine got right to the point and proclaimed that Vices' sound "will make you want to go smash some liquor bottles down by the creek."

New Breed was produced by Arthur Rizk (Power Trip).

A regular in the hard-touring DIY circuit, Vices has criss-crossed the nation with peers like Full of Hell and Old Wounds. Stand by for news of the next live missions.
