DIVIDER + Metal Injection

Metal Injection has premiered "Turning the Soil," a new Category 5 storm of a tune off Divider's upcoming debut album, All Barren.

Metal Injection likens the song to "having your face pressed into a belt sander" and sums up the New York band with these words:

"Divider's music is grand, harsh, and angry... The guitar, bass, and drums form a sonic maelstrom that's only rivaled in fury by Chris Tzompanakis' piss and vinegar screaming. Fans of Neurosis, early Isis, and Tombs should perk their ears up for this album."

Frontman Tzompanakis, also founder and frontman for elder metallic hardcore favorites Skycamefalling, has said much of the inspiration for All Barren came from the losses the band members suffered in Hurricane Sandy.

All Barren, out September 23rd on Glory Kid Ltd, can be pre-ordered now. The album was produced by Will Yip (Circa Survive, Blacklisted) and mastered by Bill Henderson (Enabler, Most Precious Blood).

Invisible Oranges recently premiered "Requisite," another song off All Barren, praising its "indescribable power."
