THE BANNER + Alternative Press

The Banner have offered up another new track off their forthcoming new album, Greying. Stream "Unbaptized" today, exclusively via Alternative Press.

The Banner's third full-length album (and first in six years), Greying hits stores December 9th on Good Fight Music. The album was engineered, mixed, and mastered by Will Putney (Body Count, The Acacia Strain) and Randy Leboeuf.

Pre-order Greying on CD and LP, along with various merch options, here.

Pre-order Greying digitally on iTunes, here, and on Bandcamp, here.

"Unbaptized" rips through speakers like a rabid dog, showcasing The Banner's metal side, as contrasted with the band's goth/industrial-leaning songs like the recently debuted "Send Me Down."

The Banner frontman JSS says this about "Unbaptized": "'Unbaptized' just barely didn't make it onto our previous album, 2008's Frailty. After simmering for a long time I chopped off the second half and tried to crank in as legit a thrash part as I could muster, to counterbalance the ignorance of the beginning. The lyrics are a fairly common theme for me, more or less about my growing feeling of disconnection with the places that I once felt most at ease."
