"Hardcore meets Americana meets classic rock"

Northern Californians Sabertooth Zombie have revealed one quarter of upcoming EP Human Performance IV, via Decibel Magazine's premiere of new tune "Gardens of Loss."

Stream the rocker, here.

Human Performance IV is out March 3rd on Twelve Gauge Records. As Decibel's Justin Norton puts it, Sabertooth Zombie delivers "hardcore meets Americana meets classic rock" and the noisy, driving, wall-of-sound that is "Gardens of Loss" exemplifies it. Also worth noting are frontman Cody Sullivan's lyrics – they're some of the most poetic we've seen in recent times, at least coming from a band that also makes kids stage dive like this.

The band is situated within a circle of NorCal bands representing the forward-thinkingest branch of the hardcore tree: Trash Talk, Ceremony, Creative Adult, et al. Two members also play in Twelve Gauge labelmate No Sir.

Human Performance IV is the Tooth's fifteenth (!) release since its formation a decade ago. It was recorded and mixed by Sam Pura (Self Defense Family, No Sir, North) and mastered by Piper Payne (Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros).
