WOLFNOTE + Revolver

Wolfnote – a new Chicago trio comprised of members of Harm's Way – debuts new song, "Sick" today via Revolver Magazine.

One of this year's coolest surprises so far, Wolfnote sees two current members of Harm's Way (guitarist Bo Lueders and drummer Chris Mills) team up with one former member (bassist Dave Cronin) to deliver first EP Wolfnote – three songs of dark, pop-punk perfection, reminiscent more of Alkaline Trio than of anything resembling Harm's Way's menacing hardcore boom-boom.

Stream "Sick" via Revolver, here.

Wolfnote comes out June 9th on Head2Wall Records (Self Defense Family, Eternal Sleep). The EP was recorded by Andy Nelson (Weekend Nachos, Exalt) and mastered by Carl Saff (Guided By Voices, Sannhet).

Another song off the EP, "Luna," was recently premiered via Alternative Press, here.

Frontman Lueders says Wolfnote is inspired by "older Chicago punk bands" as well as The Cure, The Smiths, and The Misfits. With soulful vocals, million-dollar hooks, and ironclad chops honed by hundreds of Harm's Way shows, Wolfnote is a fully-revved band in its own right, far more than a side project.
