AXIS + Metal Injection

"A hellish storm of gnashing teeth and balled-up fists... This is straight up pummelling you into the ground with every passing second."
–Metal Injection

"Packing plenty of punch for modern-day hardcore crowds, [Axis] definitely recalls the discordant '90s work of Turmoil, Deadguy, and Kiss It Goodbye. 'Discouraged' hits like a sledgehammer, with atonal, chunky riffage and bone-bashing grooves supporting full fierce tough guy howling."
–Exclaim!

"Metallic hardcore that will remind listeners of esteemed fan favorites such as Turmoil and Kiss It Goodbye"
–Lambgoat

"Florida quintet Axis is a hardcore band in the sense that Converge or The Dillinger Escape Plan are hardcore bands... Grinding, gnashing and chaotic, full of primal aggression yet surprisingly calculated destruction."
–Substream

Good Fight Music releases Axis' full-length debut, Show Your Greed, this Friday, September 4th, and today Metal Injection has launched a stream of the full album, here.

Show Your Greed was mixed by Taylor Young of Nails and Twitching Tongues. The album can now be pre-ordered from Good Fight, here.

From Orlando, Florida, Axis tears it up, on record and live – the band has been touring the country all summer long with the likes of Old Wounds and Of Feather and Bone. Its twisting, turning, metallic hardcore is chaotic and anthemic in a way that would make the late '90s ballers – Turmoil, Buried Alive, Kiss It Goodbye, et al. – proud. A few dates remain on the summer run:

Axis, Of Feather and Bone:
Sep 2 - Annapolis, MD @ Metropolitan Lounge
Sep 3 - Greensboro, NC @ Empire Books
Sep 4 - Columbia, SC @ New Brookland Tavern
