OLD WOUNDS + Bloody-Disgusting

Kicking off Halloween week with a bang, Old Wounds have joined forces with horror haven Bloody-Disgusting to premiere new video "On Leather Wings," a macabre clip that evokes the glory days of VHS. With the band members engaging in ritualistic murder and undead vengeance, the clip, directed by Mike Petrow, is the perfect complement to the song, a morbid rock n' roller that tips the hat to forefathers like Danzig and Type O Negative.

Watch "On Leather Wings," here.

The video is a sequel to the band's previous video. As Old Wounds drummer Brandon Gallagher explains, "We wanted to shoot a horror movie that was a sequel to our 'Son of No One' video, and that's what we did. What's more gnarly than a sequel where an unsuspecting band member gets bagged, beaten, buried alive, and brought back from the dead? Happy Halloween, motherfuckers." The "Son of No One" video made its debut on Fuse.tv this summer, here.

Both songs appear on latest album The Suffering Spirit, produced by Andreas Magnusson (The Black Dahlia Murder, Despised Icon), and out now on Good Fight Music. Buy it, here.

Old Wounds, having already toured throughout the year with the likes of Fit For An Autopsy, Axis, and Of Feather and Bone, begin yet another stretch of touring tonight in Charleston, SC. This run sees the band head down to The Fest 14 in Gainesville with Gatherers, then blaze a trail out to the West Coast with none other than Aiden.

"New Jersey hardcore band Old Wounds turned heads with their 2013 debut, From Where We Came Is Where We'll Rest, an album that burned with the intensity of classic '90s hardcore like Deadguy and contemporary crossover geniuses Converge. Two years later, they're set to release The Suffering Spirit, which broadens the band's sound even more, employing more cleanly sung melodies and streamlined, gothic-tinged arrangements without compromising the music's intensity one iota... Easily one of the better hardcore releases of the year so far."
