Revolver has premiered Spotlights' new song, "The Grower," off the band's upcoming debut album Tidals.

Dreamy and shimmering and planet-sized, "The Grower" showcases the harmony of sweet and heavy that is Spotlights' signature. Lush psychedelic layers of vocals and guitars swirl above a swelling ocean of sludge. It is a sound that will stir fans of My Bloody ValentineFailure, and The Melvins alike.

Listen, here:

Based in Brooklyn, Spotlights is the married couple of Mario and Sarah Quintero. The Quinteros are both former members of Sleep Lady, a San Diego band whose 2012 sophomore album So Long Lonely Ghost was produced by Aaron Harris of Isis.

Out May 13th on Crowquill Records, Tidals was recorded and mixed by Mario Quintero at various locations in Brooklyn, including Converse's Rubber Tracks Studio, and mastered by Brad Boatright (Fucked Up, Mutoid Man, Nails).
