Frontman Daniel Albaugh says "Providence" is about rejecting the notion of God and finding solace instead in the fact that the forces of the universe exist under no one's control: "I find it more comforting to think no one or no thing is in control, than a vindictive psychopath or an impotent coward."

"Providence" appears on Die Young's new upcoming full-length album, No Illusions, out August 26th on Good Fight Music. On No Illusions, the recently reformed band lashes out with a seething mix of Slayer thrash, Cro-Mags snarl, and Earth Crisis militancy. New single "Providence" sees some Bolt Thrower vibes thrown in the mix. In the words of Metal Injection, "the reformed Texas slayers in Die Young are swinging harder than ever with their upcoming release, No Illusions."
